Kate’s Bowenwork passion stems from her belief of a natural, compatible approach for health, wellness and healing. From experience, she realized that harsh, forced or constant hands-on modalities cycled the symptoms but might not correct them, and often caused a defensive reaction in the body. Bowenwork therapy has precise, gentle and on-invasive, “less-is-more” touch-movements, does not “force” the body to react, but “reminds” and “asks” the body to do what it is naturally designed to do: release, reset, restore, rebalance, and revitalize itself. Kate provides care to clients and pets and has witnessed many recover from various injuries, and health problems with this amazing healing modality.

Kate’s teaching passion is from many years as a dance instructor, her exploration of body-to-mind movement integration, and becoming a Practitioner and Associate Instructor of Bowenwork. Her excitement comes from sharing with others this wonderful modality to help others discover the real benefit of healing, and to help them gain skills and education of this therapy. Kate believes teaching increases awareness and expands Bowenwork through the individual, who in turn can reach within the community, from learning to help themselves, their loved ones, friends and even their pets with healing.
