Jan discovered Bowenwork in 2001 when she suffered a severe back injury, one which made it impossible for her to stand for more than a few minutes or walk more than a few steps. After her very first Bowenwork session the pain began to lessen. It took several months of regular sessions but Bowenwork restored her to full functioning. She loves Bowenwork because through it she can give the gift of healing to others. Bowenwork is amazing in its ability to heal the physical body, but what excites her most about it is the way it can lift someoneís spirits and restore them emotionally. After six months of regular Bowenwork sessions she noticed an increased experience of joy in every aspect of her life.

Jan loves teaching the Introduction to Bowen classes because her students get so much out of the four hour class. Whether they are new to bodywork or come with many years of massage experience, their wonder of getting profound results with such gentle, simple moves is always delightful to see. Knowing that students leave with everything they need to start giving first aid and basic sessions to their family and friends is very satisfying.
