Dr. Sheila fell in love with Bowen, in 1996, while searching for a gentle, effective body therapy for her clinic patients when she was enrolled in naturopathic medical school. The first client she treated with Bowen was an elderly woman crippled with arthritis. “She walked into the clinic for her second session bearing a big smile. It was remarkable. This lady was without her cane, acted 10 years younger, and insisted on showing me some dance moves! She was giddy, and I was in awe of the healing power unleashed by Bowen.”

Dr. Sheila enjoys coaching patients toward making healthier choices, and is thrilled to assist others in discovering the Bowen phenomena. “While I love lecturing about many health topics, nothing compares to the enthusiasm I have discovered for teaching Bowen to eager students.” Dr. Sheila finds teaching Bowen infectious, and an incredibly rewarding way to share this wondrous, holistic ‘gift’. “I feel honored to be able to share this remarkable technique, and I am truly delighted to be part of a highly-skilled group of instructors keen on inspiring a new generation of healers.”
