Joy sincerely believes her client’s wellness is of the utmost importance and is committed to helping clients reach their wellness goals. Bowenwork proves to be an exceptional modality with which she can fulfill that commitment. Joy is excited to be able to help others with this unique type of bodywork, not only because of its subtle nature but it is incredibly effective as well; what seems like a ‘bunch of nothing’ is actually doing ‘a lot of something’. The human body is an amazing machine with an intricate innate healing system and Bowenwork plays an important role in activating that system.
When the opportunity presented itself for her to become certified to teach introductory classes she thrilled! Teaching comes naturally to Joy and she is eager to impart knowledge to her students. It is such a rewarding experience for her to see the excitement of her students as they are learning the technique and observing the results themselves just from the fundamental moves that are taught. She is honored to provide the introductory classes to the San Fernando Valley and desires to educate more people in the Los Angeles area about Bowenwork. “Everyone should learn how to do Bowenwork!”
